ARTIST
A train heading into the sky, hot-air balloons drifting overhead, tiny people riding on the backs of seagulls. In landscapes full of lively color: a cheer for each new step forward, and a thank-you for the everyday that stays the same. A gift for someone setting out on a new journey, or for yourself, to brighten each day.
When we take a new step, the worry can feel bigger than the excitement. That’s exactly why we want to set out with a sense of adventure. And it’s thanks to family and friends that our ordinary days carry on, something to be grateful for. The tiny people in these paintings may be someone cheering you on from close by. May a painting on your wall be like a daily vitamin for the heart, quietly lifting your spirits every day.
Among vivid flowers and hot-air balloons stand silhouetted trees and figures, like shadow puppets. Roads that wind from the foreground into the distance and sweeping views as if seen from the sky stretch far and free. Each area has its own look: grainy earth here, a washi-paper-like surface there. Lucky motifs such as rainbows, four-leaf clovers, owls, and Mt. Fuji are tucked in everywhere.
