How to order

The payment methods available for your country are shown at checkout.

South Korea: Please use a card that can be used for overseas payments. You'll be charged in Korean won (KRW). If your card company's overseas KRW payment block (해외 원화결제 차단) is turned on, your payment may be declined. If this happens, please turn the block off temporarily in your card company's app and try again, or choose another payment method shown at checkout.

United States: Import duties are included in our prices. You won't need to pay import duties on delivery.

Hong Kong: No import duties or sales tax apply to our artworks, so there's nothing to pay on delivery.

Taiwan: If the customs value of your package (the price of the items plus shipping and insurance) is NT$2,000 or less, import duties and taxes are usually waived. Above NT$2,000, they're charged on the full amount and paid by you. One size S artwork is usually within this limit, even with Express. Each person can use this exemption up to 6 times in each half-year (January–June and July–December). Because we ship by Japan Post (delivered by Chunghwa Post in Taiwan), you usually don't need to use EZ WAY. If tax is due, Chunghwa Post usually collects it on delivery or when you pick up the package at the post office.

South Korea: Personal-use items with a goods value of US$150 or less are usually exempt from import duties and VAT. One artwork in sizes S to L is usually within this limit. Above US$150 (for example, size LL or several artworks in one order), duties and VAT are charged on the full amount and paid by you.

Canada: Orders over CA$20 are usually charged GST/HST (and PST in some provinces), and import duties may also apply. If duties or taxes are charged, Canada Post also charges a handling fee of CA$9.95 per package. You can pay online before delivery, or on delivery or pickup. These charges are not included in our prices and are paid by you.

Australia, Singapore and other countries: Your country may charge import duties, taxes or handling fees when your package arrives. These are not included in our prices and are paid by you. If you order several artworks, your order total may exceed your country's duty-free limit.

If your order has not arrived and the tracking has not updated, please contact us. We'll check with Japan Post and let you know the next steps.

If the tracking shows “Delivered” but you haven't received your package, please check with the people you live with, your neighbors, your building's mailroom and your local post office. If you still can't find it, please contact us.

If a package is returned to us because the address was incorrect or incomplete, it wasn't collected from the post office, delivery was refused, or import charges weren't paid, we can send it again, but you'll need to pay the shipping cost for resending it. If you'd prefer not to have it sent again, we'll refund the amount you paid, minus our actual cost of shipping it to you.

Received a damaged or defective artwork, or the wrong one? Please email us photos of the artwork and the packaging within 14 days of delivery. We'll send a replacement at no cost to you (you don't need to return the item), or give you a full refund.

Changed your mind? Artworks without a name or message can be returned within 7 days of delivery, unused and in their original condition with all packaging. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery (the artwork doesn't need to arrive back in Japan within those 7 days). Return shipping is paid by you. Within 7 days after we receive the artwork, we'll refund the amount you paid, minus our actual cost of shipping it to you.

Artworks with a name or message are made just for you, so they can't be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective or wrong.

After 7 days, we can't accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind.
