FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Common questions from our customers about where to hang art and how to choose it.

How do I choose art for a room?

We recommend choosing by where it will hang. Bright flower paintings are popular for entryways, paintings the whole family can enjoy for living rooms, and calm colors for bedrooms.

How do I choose art for the living room?

A living room painting is seen by the whole family. We recommend flowers or blue skies that suit many tastes, or colorful paintings that spark conversation. For a large wall, such as above a sofa, choose a larger size or hang two or three side by side for good balance.

What does hanging art do for a home?

Beyond changing the look of a room, it can lift your mood whenever you glance at it. Because it's somewhere you'll see every day, we hope you'll choose a painting you truly love.

Are there places where I shouldn't hang art?

Please avoid places with long hours of direct sunlight and humid areas, as these can cause fading and damage. For the same reason, we recommend avoiding spots where air from an air conditioner blows directly. Otherwise, you can display it anywhere — the entryway, living room, bedroom, hallway or stairway.

Art and poems for richer, warmer days.
