Based in Hiroshima, Japan. After studying Nihonga (Japanese-style painting) in the fine arts department of an art university and working in illustration and design, mime now works as a freelance artist. mime's work is loved for its gentle, translucent style using the watercolor “wash” technique, and for an original approach that blends fantastical elements with Nihonga techniques.
