The painting “Sunny Day” — full view

Sunny Day

Sunny day — looking up at the sky, riding the wind that spins round and round, a sparkling sun, swaying sunflowers, round and round, round we go, moving forward. Sunny day — together with you, embracing how dear life is, looking up, toward tomorrow.

Detail of the painting “Sunny Day” (2)

A blue sky stretching endlessly, an airplane taking off, and the sparkle of the flowers, the sky and the wind. A painting that conveys the fresh vitality of sunflowers and hope for the future. The tiny folk feel like family, friends and companions — or like cheers and encouragement. The “sunny” in the title carries all its meanings — bright, sunlit, cheerful and sun-like. And the double rainbow across the sky is said to signify happiness and blessings. Painted with the wish that your days will overflow with hope and smiles, just like this painting. Yellow is the brightest of all hues and brings a bright, cheerful mood to any space. For anyone who wants to brighten an entryway or living room, and as a gift for business openings, housewarmings, weddings, starting school, birthdays, or to cheer someone on!

A few words from Hijiringo Sayaka

Sunflowers bloom with all their might as they face the sun — such is the vitality of the sunflower, opening big blossoms every summer. Life brings things we never imagined, but I hope we can keep looking up in good times and hard times, letting ourselves ride the winds that blow, and never lose the excitement of each day. I made this piece hoping to express the preciousness of life and a bursting freshness. You can also enjoy the contrast of the sparkling sunflowers and flowing wind against the rough, warm texture of the surface.
